Ian lennard

Ian Lennard has been the President of NCB since 2010. NCB is a not-for-profit company, dedicated to the Safety of Life and Cargoes at Sea founded by the U.S. Coast Guard, and has offices serving all U.S. seaports, in addition to a software division in the UK.  He joined NCB in 1997 and has held various positions including Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
Prior to joining the NCB, Ian enjoyed nine years with Zim Shipping Company where he held various management positions.
Ian graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School earning his Juris Doctor.
In 1988 Ian graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a double major of Business and Economics.
Ian serves on the Council of Trustees of the United Seaman’s Service, the ABS Classification Committee and is a member of the following organizations:

• Maritime Law Association
• Marine Society
• Maritime Association
